Samantha J. Hauff, M.D.

Dr. Samantha Hauff is a board-certified otolaryngologist/head and neck surgeon. She grew up in Michigan and has a lifelong love for unsalted water and midwestern food. She traveled east to Baltimore for college, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Johns Hopkins University, graduating with Phi Beta Kappa honors. She returned home to the Midwest to attend the University of Michigan Medical School, where she also conducted research focused on cancers of the head and neck.

Dr. Hauff moved to the West Coast for her husband’s Navy career, and she fell in love with San Diego and the surrounding areas. In 2017, she completed her 6-year residency training in Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery at UCSD Medical Center. She briefly lived in Okinawa, Japan, then moved back to San Diego in 2018. She worked for a time in Chula Vista before opening Sunset ENT in 2020.

Dr. Hauff is an active member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery Foundation and the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy. She considers it a great honor and privilege to serve the San Diego community. In her free time, Dr. Hauff enjoys tennis, reading, eating good food and going to the zoo with her kids

Samantha J. Hauff, M.D.

Jacklynne Phan, PA-C

Jacklynne Phan is a SoCal native and a licensed physician assistant, certified by the National Commission for Certification of Physician Assistants. She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Loyola University Chicago and her Master of Physician Assistant Practice from the Keck School of Medicine of USC. She is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the California Academy of Physician Assistants, and the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy. 

Jacklynne is committed to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care. She believes in empowering her patients through education and personalized treatment plans, ensuring they feel heard and supported in their healthcare journey. Her approach focuses on building trusting relationships and fostering open communication.

In her free time, she enjoys exploring new cafes and restaurants, exercising, and spending time with her family and friends.
